The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta always lives up to its reputation as the Best in the West, with superb competition and brilliant entertainment. Thousands of visitors from the region, nation and indeed the world descend on Dartmouth every August for a packed programme of rowing, sailing, swimming,  live music, street food, fireworks and more.


Its held on August Bank Holiday weekend running from Thursday onwards.

Tunes on the Sands



Just five miles from Dartmouth, with a backdrop of scenic forests and hills, the Tunes on the Sands festival takes place on the beautiful Blackpool Sands. Over a weekend in July,  national and international artists come together for two days of chilled out vibes and fun.


There's a gin bar, VIP area and beach activities for all to take part in.

Dart Music Festival



This annual three day Dart Music Festival brings over 100 performances spanning almost every musical genre. The festival offers an eclectic mix of orchestral, rock, choral, blues, opera, folk, and jazz performances at a variety of indoor and outdoor venues including two churches, the bandstand in the Park, outside the castle, and various hotels, pubs, and restaurants, throughout the weekend.


And it’s all FREE to listen to!



Dartmouth Food Festival Happy Chef Entertaining Autumn Event

Dartmouth Food Festival



Having grown from humble beginnings in 2004 into a first class feast of entertainment featuring workshops, seminars, tastings, competitions, demonstrations and over 100 hand-picked exhibitors (many of which are from Devon), the festival aims to be truly the very best that the South West has to offer.
Described in The Telegraph as a ‘heady mix of celebrity chefs, parties, food markets, tasting shacks and demonstrations’, the festival is now a landmark event on the culinary calendar.


It's free to attend and takes place in October each year.

Launched in 2021, Dartmouth Pride has created a welcoming space for our local LGBTQ+ community to connect.


Dartmouth is a place of kindness and diversity, filled with remarkable individuals from all walks of life. Dartmouth Pride aims to foster an even stronger sense of community, sharing the spirit of unity with future generations through humble events.

The festivities kick off with our “PRIDE WALK” starting at noon in Coronation Park followed by snacks, drinks, and socialising, and then onto The Dolphin Inn for the Pride After Party.

Dartmouth Triathlon



The successful Dartmouth Triathlon returns each year in June.


A chance to swim in the crystal waters of Blackpool Sands, cycle out to Slapton on a stunning coastal bike route featuring Devon's flattest road.


You finish with an out-and-back run up the picturesque Blackpool Valley Road following a stream gently rising up to the turn.


Plus chance to camp on the beach!
